Deanna is a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT) driven by a passion for holistic wellness, movement, and women’s health.

Her journey into bodywork began in healthcare, where she spent years serving as a Certified Nursing Assistant across labor and delivery, acute physical rehabilitation, and oncology. After stepping into motherhood with the birth of her first child, Deanna discovered Classical Pilates and experienced its profound rehabilitative power firsthand. Inspired by her own transformation, she channeled her deep passion for healing into helping others restore and strengthen their bodies through mindful movement.

In addition to teaching rehabilitative and group classes in the physical therapy setting, Deanna is the founder of Skylight Pilates Studio in Deerfield, Illinois. Tucked away as a small Classical Pilates oasis, Skylight was created to be a warm, welcoming sanctuary where individuals of all ages and abilities can work toward uniform development.
